Effective 4-1-84 THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO ORIGINAL RETAIL BUYERS OF SPX's OTC BRAND PRODUCTS OR PARTS ("OTC PRODUCTS"). THIS WARRANTY IS NOT ASSIGNABLE OR TRANSFERABLE. SPX MAKES NO WARRANTY TO ANYONE ELSE, INCLUDING OTHER PURCHASERS AND/OR USERS, AND NONE SHALL BE IMPLIED.
Except as otherwise provided in this warranty, OTC Products are warranted against defects in materials
and workmanship for the life of the OTC Product, meaning that point in time when the OTC Product no
longer functions due to normal wear. This warranty does not apply to electronic products, which are
covered by separate warranties. Nor does this warranty apply to the following items, which may be
incorporated into or sold with OTC Products and which are sold "as-is" with all faults: chains, batteries,
electric motors, knives, and cutter blades.
(Electric motors are warranted by their manufacturers under conditions stated in their warranties.)
The sole and exclusive remedy for any OTC Product found to be defective is repair or replacement,
at the option of SPX. If this exclusive remedy is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose,
SPX's liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the OTC Product. In no event will SPX be
liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profit)
whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
This warranty does not cover any OTC Product that has been abused, altered, worn out, contaminated,
rusted, heated, ground, damaged due to side loading, used for a purpose other than that for which it
was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with SPX/OTC's instructions regarding use. The
existence of a defect shall be determined by SPX in accordance with procedures established by SPX.
No one is authorized to make any statement or representation altering the terms of this warranty.THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Repair
Should your OTC Product require repair service, return it freight prepaid to an OTC authorized
service center, and provide proof of purchase. If the OTC Product is covered by warranty, SPX will
return the repaired OTC Product, or a replacement, ground freight prepaid. If the OTC Product is determined
to be out of warranty, it will be repaired for a reasonable charge plus return freight.Rev. 5/15/00
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO ORIGINAL RETAIL BUYERS OF SPX ELECTRONIC DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS ("UNITS").
SPX Units are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for three years (36 months)
from date of delivery. This warranty does not cover any Unit that has been abused, altered, used
for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with
instructions regarding use. The sole and exclusive remedy for any Unit found to be defective is repair
or replacement, at the option of SPX. In no event shall SPX be liable for any direct, indirect, special,
incidental or consequential damages (including lost profit) whether based on warranty, contract, tort
or any other legal theory. The existence of a defect shall be determined by SPX in accordance with
procedures established by SPX. No one is authorized to make any statement or representation

SOFTWARE
Unit software is proprietary, confidential information protected under copyright law. Users have no
right in or title to Unit software other than a limited right of use revocable by SPX. Unit software may
not be transferred or disclosed without the written consent of SPX. Unit software may not be copied
except in ordinary backup procedures.ORDER INFORMATION

Two-Year Warranty

Except as otherwise provided in this warranty, Stinger by OTC Products are warranted against defects
in materials and workmanship for two years. This warranty does not apply to electronic products,
which are covered by separate warranties. Nor does this warranty apply to the following items, which
may be incorporated into or sold with Stinger by OTC Products, and which are sold "as-is" with all
faults: chains, batteries, electric motors, knives, and cutter blades.(Electric motors are warranted by their manufacturers under conditions stated in their warranties.)

contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

abuse, afteration, failure to follow operating instructions, or worn out, contaminated, rusted, heated,
ground, damaged due to side loading, or used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended.
The existence of a defect shall be determined by SPX in accordance with procedures established by
SPX. This warranty may not be altered or modified.

SPX Stinger Electronics by OTC ("Units") are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship
for one year (12 months) from date of shipment. This warranty does not cover any Unit that has
been damage due to accident, abuse, alteration, use for a purpose other than that for which it was
intended, or failure to follow operating instructions.
The sole and exclusive remedy for any Unit found to be defective is repair or replacement, at the
option of SPX. In no event shall SPX be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or
consequential damages (including lost profit) whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any

This product is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials, and components
for a period of one year from date of purchase. All parts and labor required to repair defective
products covered under the warranty will be at no charge.-
The following restrictions apply:
- The limited warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
- The warranty applies to the product in normal usage situations only, as described in the
Operating Manual. The product must also be serviced and maintained as specified.
- If the product fails, it will be repaired or replaced at the option of the manufacturer.
- Transportation charges for warranty service will be reimbursed by the factory upon verification
of the warranty claim and submission of a freight bill for normal ground service.
Approval from the manufacturer must be obtained prior to shipping to an authorized service center.
- Warranty service claims are subject to authorized inspection for product defect(s).
- The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any additional costs associated with a product
failure including, but not limited to, loss of work time, loss of refrigerant, crosscontamination of
refrigerant, and unauthorized shipping and/or labor charges.
- All warranty service claims must be made within the specified warranty period. Proof-of-purchase
date must be supplied to the manufacturer.
- Use of this recovery/recycling equipment with unauthorized refrigerants will void the warranty.
Authorized refrigerants are listed on the equipment or are available through the Technical Service Department.

This Limited Warranty does not apply if:
- The product, or product part, is broken by accident.
- The product is misused, tampered with, or modified
- The product is used for recovering or recycling any substance other than the specified refrigerant type.
Note: Refillable refrigerant tanks are reusable.
